I will check the BIOS settings but since it has turned off a few times, I wouldn't have thought that would matter. When I say sleep, I mean the setting to turn the monitor off. I have mine (desktop, two laptops) all set to turn off the display after 15 mins, they all shut off after 15 mins no problems, also they're set to never sleep or hibernate. After upgrading your laptop or desktop to Windows 10, you might have noticed following issues: After performing shutdown, power lights, as well as CPU fan, remains on. Then try setting the display to turn off and see if that works

Set everything in advanced power settings under 'Sleep' to never, disable, or off, including 'Allow hybrid sleep' and 'Hibernate after'. There shouldn't be a need for any 3rd party applications, or doing anything in power config to make the display turn off. If you disconnect the monitor from your laptop, then set advanced power settings to turn off the display after xx minutes, will it turn off as you've set it? Good idea about checking the wake on LAN xrobwx, that could be easily overlooked. I wasn't aware of a 'sleep' setting for a monitor, it's either on or off, I believe sleep and hibernate only apply to the computer itself, by default the computer either going into sleep or hibernate mode will turn the monitor off.
